Getting READY
FROM 6AM,
UP THE MOUNTAIN
We packed up into Daddy's car early in the morning. There was not a space left inna 'e cyaar. The back packed up to the brim! Everything accounted for....except the wedding dress Rae magically forgot. Luckily the bridesmaids are used to them, and the checklist got read-out before we did leff-out. We were hyped the whole way. Always a roller-coaster in Daddy's car. The sun shined for us all morning. There were no signs of the rain that was surely to come when most critical.
Events always begin with a round of Dad's brewed tea. Popo was zipping about- looking about- the decor, busy, and productive as always. Hair & makeup went into production, the assembly line working in tune. Kai was confined up to the top room like rapunzel, lest he see the bride.
